My specialties? -Drawing and watercolor -Passionate advocate for the arts -Being a loving, encouraging and supportive teacher
I provide honest, in-depth, well-structured classes for my students that are individualized based on their current skill level and goals. Everyone is at a different point in his/her artistic journey and it's important for me to honor this.
Not to mention, in my many years teaching, I've found that the more personalized classes (and the feedback provided) are, the deeper and faster progress the student is able to make.
I love making my classes easy-to-understand, and provide lots of examples and step-by-step demos that we work on together, so that we can move forward incrementally. Any extra support the student needs on specific topics is built in so that he/she feels supported every step of the way.
Be warned! I don't only teach my students drawing or watercolor painting techniques, but provide the knowledge/experience they need to build up the confidence (and the tools) to eventually build up original artwork from scratch.
I share everything that I learned about in art school and my many years working as a creative professional in regards to Art Fundamentals and seeing art creation with a project mentality.
Knowledge and experience with Art Fundamentals are what will allow you to build up original artwork from scratch that's visually impactful, harmonious, balanced, and is able to transmit the message you're looking to transmit.
*Before starting with every new student, I have a 20 minute call with them via Skype (FREE of charge), so that I can get to know you and you can ask me any questions you'd like. This way, there's no wasted time in our first class/session.
I can't wait to help you move forward in your art journey!
