Love the look of line and wash florals but not sure where to start? Want to confidently draw and paint different types of flowers to use in your artwork? Wondering how to balance expressive ink lines with soft watercolor washes for a stunning effect?

Ink drawing and watercolor washes complement each other beautifully.

By combining these two art mediums, you're able to capture both the structure and the fluidity of flowers in a way that feels both effortless and dynamic.

In this series of step-by-step video tutorials, I’ll guide you through drawing and painting a variety of flowers using pen and watercolor.

We start by practicing individual flowers, learning key techniques to balance line work with soft washes, and then bring everything together in a beautiful floral bouquet.

Whether you're new to line and wash or looking to refine your skills, these tutorials will help you build confidence and develop your own unique approach to floral art.

Grab your sketchbook, ink pen, and watercolors, and let’s get started!
