I am kind of late posting this. Between teaching, me making time for health (exercise/healthy eating/trying to get enough sleep), planning my wedding, and my new cat, I've been pretty busy!
Before the school year starts, I always make a bulletin board that basically shows the Elements of Art we are going to be learning about in class (difficulty depending on the grade). These Elements of Art are basically the foundation for the projects I plan each semester and are a big part of my school's Art curriculum that I need to cover. I think it is a great way to display the most important information that students should stay with and it also helps them understand that there is a foundation of knowledge behind every single thing I have them do. Everyone that comes into my class also seems to enjoy seeing that I have a different/creative way of making bulletin boards!
