You've always wanted to be an artist but...
You wish there was a way to progress your art skills from the comfort of your own home and at your own pace.
You've committed to your artistic improvement, but feel overwhelmed with all the information out there and don't know where to start or how to move forward.
You've never been able to stay consistent enough to make any real progress.
You keep seeing other artists' work online or on social media and keep wondering "How on Earth did they do that?!", often feeling you'll never be able to reach that level.
You feel you don't have the time required to make any significant improvement.
You're serious about improving your artistic skills, but online courses or local classes are way too much of an investment for you right now.
You're interested in art courses you've come across online, but have held yourself back because you feel unready or like you'll fall behind quickly.
You're often afraid of the blank page or canvas, and anxiety holds you back from starting because you're afraid of "messing up".
You've progressed your skills up to a certain degree, but haven't gained the confidence you need to start sharing and talking about your work.
You've been to local classes, art retreats and/or have taken online courses, but have not been able to develop your own artistic style and voice.

I offer one-on-one tutoring, as well as feedback sessions via Skype for aspiring artists who are interested in making heaps of progress, fast.
These individualized classes are reserved for students who are ready to be consistent and put in the work that's necessary to improve their skills.
My one-on-one students not only get sessions once a week that are prepared specifically for their own currently level and goals, but can reach out to ask for feedback via email whenever they need it.
In these sessions, I provide the guidance you need to increase your skills, knowledge of Art Fundamentals and confidence. My classes, as well as all of the assignments, are tailored to your specific skill level and goals.
I base my classes (drawing, watercolor and acrylic) on programs that I have created throughout my years teaching so that nothing is left out, provide in-depth feedback to students promptly and guide students in their journey towards finding their unique artistic voice.
*Prior to starting classes with a new student, we set up a (free) 20 minute meeting in order to assess his/her current skill level and personal goals, so we can hit the ground running on our first session.
*Have my undivided attention, personalized support and years of expertise as a teaching artist for a full hour a week at an introductory price of $140 USD/month.

Thoughts from some of my students/community members:
Last week I completed a Skype session with Erika. We had a brilliant class which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much from. Erika was well prepared for the lesson and shared her screen to clearly demonstrate the concepts. I learned so much that I will now work on and develop with further practice.
I am keen and excited to practice further and develop the concepts she has taught me. Erika is clear and enthusiastic in explaining the topics. I understood each point before we progressed to the next step. After completion of the lesson, Erika also sent me exercises and tips for me to practice. I would highly recommend Erika for art lessons!
-Jane Maloney (Northampton, UK)
I have followed Erika for a while on her blog, Pinterest, watched her videos, and receive her newsletter, enjoying her clear description of art concepts. Now I’ve been lucky enough to join her Facebook art group, watch her weekly live streams and had a personal Skype class.
Erika is approachable, fun, and KIND! She quickly figured out where I was in my creative journey, encouraged me, and gave great feedback and tips to help me move forward.

I have been taking online classes with Erika for several months and I love the way she makes everything so easy to understand. With her direct guidance and feedback, I've been able to progress my skills and am now able to do things I didn't know I could do.
Erika's one-on-one drawing and watercolor tutoring programs are very complete and nothing is left out. The exercises and assignments progress incrementally. She's takes you step-by-step, covering necessary Art Fundamentals, and really takes into account your current level and goals to individualize her classes.
Thank you for being so inspiring and bringing art back into my life!

My favorite thing about my watercolor classes with Erika is that they feel so custom to my level and what I'm interested in. I can tell that she puts a lot of preparation and care into what we cover in each session.
My lessons consist of theoretic introductions where she explains and recommends tools and supplies, and are followed step-by-step demonstrations/tutorials. I have so much fun following along and love how my paintings turn out!
Erika is a talented, encouraging and enthusiastic teacher. I would highly recommend booking a class with her if you’re looking to develop your painting skills .
-Jacqueline Bürgi (Zurich, Switzerland)
Erika is energetic, talented, and the love she has towards the art, as well as for art enthusiasts shows in all she does. I truly admire and respect her work, as well as her work ethic. I appreciate the time she has dedicated to inform and teach me different artistic skills. I would love to be able to take more classes with her and be able to work with her in the future.
-Jesus Cruz (Florida, USA)
Erika has helped me improve both my drawing and watercolor skills after I have taught for several years myself. I have taken Erika’s online courses and watched her YouTube instructions and left with plenty of useful information and inspiration.
She takes you through step-by-step lessons that are easy to understand and makes important information accessible for aspiring artists at any level. I've found her explanations easier to understand than many textbooks and even classroom instructions I have taken in the past.
I highly recommend Erika’s videos and online classes.
