Ok... so by now you probably know that I really love painting food. Nonetheless, I have done my best to continue practicing drawing faces (in pencil and charcoal) whenever I have the time and decided to take it a step further and try to do a watercolor portrait. I made two failed paintings before this one, and I know that I still have a long way to go, but it's progress and any progress is great! Right?
It's funny, even though I enjoy painting more realistic style still life art, I really love looser styles when it comes to portraits....Hrmm....
