Hoping to find inspiration for a poster I am soon going to start working on, I came across these wonderful pieces by Sam Bevington. They are inspired by English proverbs and sayings and of course, have that retro style that I love so much .

So I´m working on my first logo for 99designs.com because I have time and I thought, why the hell not? The first brief that called to me is for a new logo for a veterinary hospital in Salt Lake Valley called Sugar House.
The reason I thought this would be a good choice for me to work on (aside from the fact that I love animals), is because the brief calls for three animals in the logo (dog, cat and domestic rabbit).
I´ve decided to start posting music videos that I find inspiring. Unfortunately, I rarely watch TV anymore (the few shows I see
I see online) nor have the time to keep up with music news as much as I´d like to, so many of them will probably be a little old (most bands that I really like are old or oldish anyway). I will, however, try to include stuff from newer bands that I do find quite talented.
I will start with the video for Goldfrapp´s Ride a White Horse (2006) that I find visually attractive and funny. I like the colors, the fashion and the general humorous tone of the video.

Every time I have a recipe or food related book/magazine in front of me, I´ll take the time to look at all the pictures because I love the way the different natural textures and colors mix. From what I´ve been able to experience (food photography sessions I have had a chance to be part of) as well as from articles I have read, great photos are the result of a great team effort (food stylist included).
Found most of these wonderful pictures at http://smittenkitchen.com/
I recommend this site to anyone who gets as excited about food as I do (all sorts of food talk, recipes and lots of pictures).
Found these trully inspiring and amazing.

Wood type and printing museum located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin that commercially produced from 1880 until 1985. It is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. Hamilton's collection is one of the greatest wood type collections in the world.

Found these images showing how these logos have changed throughout the years.
Amazing how the Coca-Cola logo has managed to keep its general image since 1887.
I´ve definitely developed a new style, but I wanted to post this. I must have drawn them about 10 years ago.
This is a sneek peek of something I´m currently working on. I´m basically redoing this coffee drink four pack project I did during university and changing everything except the name I came up with back then.
Here are the last three logos selected and the front and back of the box.
Expect to see the finished results very soon!
Came across a wonderful and inspiring collection of posters, magazine covers and ads created in Japan during the 20´s and 30´s. These are my favorites.
See what I am up to on:
